If you want the thrill of driving a sports car but prefer to stay with an all-electric vehicle, meet the 2024 Porsche Taycan. Available in three different body styles, the Taycan charges quickly and has a long range. But it still has that sports car feel, thanks to a low-slung driving position and fierce acceleration. The Taycan, which is entering its fifth model year, is available at Porsche Stevens Creek.

A Body Style To Meet Your Lifestyle

The four-door Taycan is available in a classic sports car design with sleek lines. But if you want to hang on to that sports car feel while adding a little extra rear-seat headroom and space for your luggage, check out the Taycan Cross Turismo or the Taycan GTS Sport Turismo, both of which have enlarged rear areas. Of the two, the Taycan GTS Sport Turismo has the lower suspension.

The Power You Expect in a Porsche

Most Taycan models have two electric motors, with one powering the front wheels and the other powering the rear. Horsepower levels vary depending on which trim level you’ve selected. The Taycan also has a two-speed direct-drive transmission that juices this vehicle’s acceleration, making it possible to hit 60 miles per hour in just 2.4 seconds.

To give you optimum performance in every condition, each model is equipped with four driving modes: range, normal, sport, and sport plus. The Taycan has an EPA-estimated range of anywhere from 206 to 246 miles, depending on which model you’re driving. All models have DC-fast charging speeds of up to 270 kWh.

An Advanced Driving Experience

The Taycan’s advanced cockpit replaces mechanical buttons with digital ones. A curved display keeps all of the car’s driving information directly in front of the driver. The Cross Turismo and the GTS Sport Turismo come equipped with Porsche Voice Pilot, which allows you to make certain temperature, lighting, and navigational commands by saying “Hey Porsche.”

Drivers can opt for a panoramic sunroof, which uses an electrical current to diffuse sunlight, serving as a sunshade.

Assistance at Your Fingertips

Sometimes you want to completely own the driving experience, and other times, you might welcome some assistance. For those times when you want to relax, the Taycan offers several driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control and active lane keeping, which gently keeps your vehicle in the middle of the lane. A lane change assist feature indicates if a vehicle is in your blind spot as you shift lanes.

The Taycan gives you electric vehicle amenities without sacrificing the luxurious high performance you’ve come to associate with Porsche. When you’re ready to test drive the new Taycan, head to Porsche Stevens Creek.
